Myths & Meetings  Jorn <<< Picasso.
An art exhibition, of prolific paintings, drawings and sculptures by Pablo Picasso and Asger Jorn.  In a close dialogue with  curators we formed the visual storytelling and spatial layout of content. The organisation of several themes in relation to story and narrative, integrated lighting and preservation of valuable art pieces, signage and graphics.
In the exhibition, we let a number of wordless physical experiences and situations based on Jorn's experiences, enter in between traditionally represented works of art. The Danish artist Asger Jorn’s striking encounter with Picasso took place through the figuratively and historically powerful painting Guernica from 1937, in the work format 349 × 776cm. In the first gallery, a completely monochrome black surface in scale 1: 1of the painting, got the task to recreate the feeling of time and power. The exhibition includes Void 1:1 and Byen hvor det startede.
Materiality. Artworks, bricks, glass, void.
